Mi Día...In Third Person

 Miss Lyss's day as told by Miss Lyss in third person :) With a sprinkling of random lovely pictures. 

It this not adorable?! I died when I saw it :)

Today Miss Lyss had a good day. Her day started at 12:01 am. She frantically finished her history video and then headed to bed at 1:00ish. At around 6:54ish Miss Lyss arrived at school and sat in the commons area. 7:20 presicely the bell rang and Miss Lyss bolted off to her locker. Upon climbing up the towering staircase with the rest of the cattle....er I mean students, she came to the realization that she forgot her purse  in the commons area. After going loco, Lyss's purse was returned and she then stumbled off to history class a bit frazzled.


After a pretty uneventful history class in which groups presented their videos (one in which Mr. McCrushyCrush singing 'Bad to the Bone'! ha), Miss Lyss darted off to gym class. During gym Miss Lyss was superduper happy when her class got to go to the new weight room. She really enjoyed the new equipment where there weren't rips in the padding or nasty sweat marks, but apparently while she was there someone stole the gym teacher's iTouch and that led to bad things. Miss Lyss and her class were told to stand in a room andm that they were going to get searched. Turns out they didn't want to search us, but they were going to check the video cameras. Sent off to change with 2 minutes left, Miss Lyss ran to her locker and changed faster than a....race car?! And then made her way to lunch. In the lunch line Mr. McCC asked Miss Lyss if she was going to the lacrosse gae. Miss Lys totally knew she was going(because she knew she couldn't bear to not go), but told Mr. McCC "ahh, maybe...if I have nothing else to do." (Miss Lyss is a silly little girl!)

True dat.

So after a pretty boring English class Miss Lyss got her backpack and went to the bus, but UH OH! Miss Lyss forgot, her momma was picking her up to get her haircut! So Miss Lyss embarrassingly swam against the current... I mean walked against the crowd to get off the bus and ran to her mom's car.

So we proceeded to go to the salon, but stopped at the bakery where Lyss works to pick up some snacks on the way to the salon. Miss Lyss picked up a brownie for her dad and a cookie for herself. She then went back to the car and ate them...both. (She instantly regretted it.) After a pretty boring haircut  Miss Lyss and Momma went back to the car and Momma told her "You don't like it do you." Well Momma was right, the haircutter lady had cut Miss Lyss's bangs wayyyy to short. Miss Lyss was disappointed, but she knew her bangs would grow out eventually.

So there's  Miss Lyss's day! She hopes yours was fantabulous!

Not Quite There.

This past week has been odd. I feel like I didn't to anyone all week! In gym I went with the 'I'm gonna put my headphones in so I don't have to talk to anyone' and I did the same thing in homeroom. Anywhoo, I'm just a weirdo. Maybe it's partly affected by  these pins I pinned last night... 

Well anyway I want this to be an awesome week because next week...we don't have school!! YAY! I cannot write words to say how happy I am. And in other news I made an awesome cake he other night, but it was for my grandma and I made it at her house so she has all the pictures :( boo. Therefore I shall show you a picture of another cake! This one is from New Years Eve and I think it's a pretty good cake if I do say so myself! ------>

Also all those photos up there ^ are from pinterest. I'm addicted :) (They're all wonky and stuff though, I blame it on blogger) Oh and in even more news I entered one of my crochet projects in a Crochet Along Contest and the best part is there's prizes! Wish me luck because I'd love to win considering first prize is 5 patterns which I'd love to have but of course don't have a credit card to actually purchase them!

Sorry I've been buried under a pile of school work and haven't been posting much. Tomorrow I plan to spend a hopefully homework-free evening going to a lacrosse game with all my peeps(aka. friends!). That will only happen if our geometry teacher is nice to us and doesn't give us yet another double assignment and if I finish my oh so lovely(not!) Spanish homework :P bleh haha Night!

Well hello there!

I haven't forgotten you guys! It's just my days have been filled with alot of this:

and a lot less posting! It's also because I'm a goofer-offer and a procrastinator and it's just a lovely combination!!

Today was a lovely day though. I started the morning off with a girl coming in to the Student Council meeting crying...because she got wet in the rain...oh goodness... Then in Chem we had a lab that failed when everyone's test tubes exploded/shattered and sent glass flying everywhere(no one was hurt..safety first!!), but oh boy was it funny. I was a smart person and when I noticed a crack I took it off the heat...other peeps? Not so lucky. I then proceeded to get 2 bonus points for history for being the awesomest person in the world...I mean grabbing the sticky note off the board outside the teachers room and writing the right answer to a question. Then in Spanish III we got serenaded by one of the boys. Oh boy was it hilarious, plus there's 3 guys in there who can play the guitar really well. And by really well I mean really really really really well.

So no one probably cares about that, THEREFORE! I shall so you something funny.

Have random people you know been talking about this? It's stupid. I mean really?!


This cracks me up! Adults trying to be kids....oh funniness :)










I used to hate when teachers did that!!

11 Random Facts

Before I shall start I want to say I've written about 3 full posts for you guys, but my blogger is going wacko...blame it on the technology, but it won't save or publish my posts! boo :(

Anywhoo, I was tagged by Rissi at Scribles, Scripts, and Such. It's my first ever tag, so whooo! Get excited! EDIT: I gave up on the whole tag...........(sadface :'[ )


1. I love pinapple, but I just ate some and I feel like it burned a whole through my tongue! Ouchie.
2. I'd take picking up sticks over cleaning the house any day. I. Hate. Cleaning. I always say I'd never higher a cook or nanny, but I'd jump on a chance to hire a cleaning person!
3. According to my honors chemistry teacher(the highest science class sophomores can be in) I have the highest Lexile score(reading level). Did I ever mention I'm kinda smart? I'm also super awesome at chemistry, for some reason. I'm always the first one done while people are struggling. Okay that's all my bragging...
4. One day I want to own a house on a pretty big amount of land. I think it would be awesome. (Oh and I want cows, chickens, goat, alpacas, and a pig. I really want to be self sufficient. I think that'd be awesome.
5. Is this about me? Well during geometry Mr. McCrushyCrush asked my fortune teller thing I made(during class because I was super bored), "Will Lyss date me?" First things first I think he should have maybe asked me and not the fortune teller.. Also, I'm still not sure what I should do. I just don't know. I've known the guy for years, but I think we should get to know each other better.
6. I want 5 kids...sounds like a lot, but it'd be awesome. I always wished I had more sibling.
7. I really have to be...hey it's a random thing about myself.
8. On another strange note I have to give my dog pepsid because she has acid reflux...fun stuff.
9 My other doggie, Mr. ThreeLeggedBeagle aka. Shotty, is a total ladies man. The big and little girls at the vet were gaga for by doggy!
10. I've become obsessed with crocheting amigurumi! One of my favorite free patterns http://www.freshstitches.com/holidaypenguin.php this pattern was the first one I ever did and I had almost no trouble with it!
11. I don't know what else! Ask me something!!

On second thought this is taking me forever and I have lots I could be doing...so sorry. Plus I don't feel the need to tag people since it seems like everyone under the sun has done it!!
